Bayer chose TapScan to run a program for their new product launch that had a significant learning curve for consumers: two supplements of fibre and inulin in a new gummy format. Store displays and product neck tags supported a TapScan program that explained benefits of the product. This program tracked the shoppers’ language preferences, compared the engagement with the store display versus the product neck tag, and tracked engagement with the digital experience both in-store and out-of-store.

The Interactive TapScan Certification Mark Experience gives consumers detailed insights into Purity-IQ’s ‘Certified Authentic’ program. It showcases brand-certified products and ingredients, shares the brand story, and tracks consumer interests within the experience. It explains the journey to certification, includes a link to the science behind the testing protocol, and highlights the product’s benefits. Additionally, TapScan measures shopper engagement with the product’s packaging and point-of-sale materials.

The pandemic environment created new category needs for tech-heavy products. TapScan and Braun developed displays for a touchless educational experience, showcasing 11 unique products across retailers in 14 countries. TapScan‘s tasks in this initiative include providing product education at the point of sale (POS), comparing performance metrics of multiple products and POS locations, evaluating retailer compliance in terms of display activation and placement, and monitoring the rate of consumer interaction with the displays.
